Aamir Khan Has Been Invited To Turkey To Shoot For ‘Dangal’
Aamir Khan is an Indian film actor, director, producer and television presenter. Through his successful career in Hindi films, Khan has established himself as one of the most popular and influential actors of Bollywood.
The tourism ministry of different countries are constantly trying to woo Bollywood film makers since Bollywood has a huge fan following the world over. Once a film is shot in a particular country, thousands of tourists and fans flock there to experience a little bit of Bollywood magic. Right from the time that Switzerland had become synonymous with Yash Raj Films to more recent movies like Dil Dhadakne Do which put Spain back on the map as a travel destination. Now it’s time for Turkey to bring some Bollywood masala into their country. We hear that the Turkish ambassador is huge fan of Aamir Khan and has invited him to shoot his next film Dangal, in Turkey. Dangal revolves around an ageing wrestler turned coach named Mahavir Phogat who coached his two daughters in the sport. Apparently there are a lot of wrestling arenas in Turkey which makes it an appropriate place to shoot. However, considering that the story is based in India, travelling all the way to Turkey doesn’t make a lot of sense does it?
While there are a lot of speculations on the casting of the four girls in Aamir Khan’s next, Dangal, there is yet another aspect that is in the consideration now. The Turkish Ambassador , on his visit to India, met with the actor and invited him to come and shoot for Dangal in Turkey.
Since the invite has just come to Aamir, he will be forwarding it to the entire team and they will consider the location. Aamir has worked a lot and gone through a physical transformation for the film. He has gained about 20 kgs for the same. There is a lot of buzz and excitement around the project and has become one of the most awaited films.
Wrestling is widely practiced in Turkey and it is their ancestral sport. Dangal is based on the life of a wrestler and there are a lot of wrestling arenas in Turkey which makes it an appropriate destination for the shoot. The ambassador to Turkey also happens to be a huge fan of Aamir and so was very keen to meet him and present his case.
