A jawan from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) kicked the bucket when the rifle he was wiping went off incidentally, at G.K. Veedhi Police Station, in the office territory of Visakhapatnam District on Thursday morning.
The expired was recognized as Ajay Kumar, a local of Moradabad, in Uttar Pradesh.
Concurring Narsipatnam Additional Superintendent of Police (Operations) Vishal Gunni, the jawan was from the 42nd CRPF Battalion, Rajahmundry and was posted in the office region for against Maoist operation.
