Ajay Devgn is not doing cameo in SRK’s Dilwale

Even though they have been part of the film industry for more than two decades now, Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan have never shared screen space. But last month, when a photograph of them having dinner in Bulgaria went viral, rumours about the Singham (2011) actor playing a cameo role in SRK’s next started doing the rounds. Directed by Rohit Shetty, this film also stars Ajay’s wife, Kajol. Coincidentally, it was being shot in Bulgaria at the time the photograph went viral. But Rohit rubbishes the rumours.

While reports suggested that Ajay landed in Bulgaria, while Rohit and SRK were already filming there, the director says that the news was far from the truth. “Ajay was in Bulgaria for the recce of his directorial venture. People said that he landed up [during our shoot], but what happened was the complete opposite. We were the ones who reached Bulgaria after him,” he says.
