Ashes: Anderson returns to England’s squad for fifth Test

James Anderson the England bowler who missed the fourth Ashes Test against Australia due a side strain, has now been named for the fifth Ashes in the England’s squad Test beginning from August 20 at The Ovral.

Confirming the news, James Whitaker 33c-year-old national selector said that the is continuing to improve, adding that he might be able to play a part in it.

The star bowler has replaced Mark Footitt in a 14-man squad.

Anderson was injured on day two at Edgbaston as England inched towards the victory after reducing the tourists to 168-7 at stumps.

He was at his dominant best on the opening day as he claimed six wickets to bundle out Australia for a paltry 136 at Edgbaston.
