Bengaluru: Lawyers challenge against Lokayukt outside Lokayukt office, 21 KRV activists captured, discharged; legal counselors take out rally
High dramatization was seen before Lokayukta SP’s office on Dewans’ street, here, on Wednesday, when an area of activists fitting in with Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV), H Shivaramegowda group, depended on a challenge, requesting the abdication of Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao, taking after the debasement allegations against his child Y Ashwin Rao.
The KRV activists, drove by their locale unit president Madesh, slid on the pathway close Lokayukta office, when scores of police faculty, drove by Inspector Nagesh, took them under preventive authority. A sum of 21 activists were captured and sent to City Armed Reserve (CAR) police grounds, where they were discharged later.
As per DCP (law and order) H T Shekar, the activists turned to the blend without getting any pre-essential consent. In this way, they were taken into preventive guardianship.
Sources told Deccan Herald, the vedike activists did not notice to police cautioning against organizing the challenge. When they went on a hostile, police work force adjusted them and took them to CAR grounds in a maxicab, that was going on the same stretch.
In the interim, many backers, under the pennant of Mysore Bar Association, took out a rally in challenge against the issue. The supporters, drove by their leader B R Chandramouli and secretary Srikrishna, requested the abdication of Lokayukta Justice Y Bhaskar Rao and activity against his child Ashwin, ‘purported’ specialists Krishna Rao and PRO at Lokayukta office Syed Riyaz.
The rally was taken out from the Law Courts intricate, through Vani Vilasa Road, RTO Circle, Ramaswamy Circle and JLB Road, before coming full circle.
