A woman who tried to smuggle about 1.67 crores worth of cocaine in bra stitched into in her amble 46D bra is facing jail.
Drug smuggler Nola Williams, 47, hid the 1kg stash in her underwear then boarded a BA flight from Kingston, Jamaica, to Gatwick with a child and a convicted accomplice, who is now on the run.
They nearly made it into the country, but were arrested as they tried to get on a train to Victoria Station in London.
National Crime Agency officers found the 71 per cent-pure drug had been woven into the cups of the plus-sized bra Nolan was wearing following a strip search.
Croydon Crown Court heard the accomplice Raymond Goodison had used Williams as a drugs mule.
She pleaded guilty to smuggling cocaine.
Goodison, who is thought to be hiding out in Jamaica or the US, was convicted and sentenced to 13 years in prison, also for drug smuggling.
But despite being on licence for a previous jail sentence for drugs, Goodison, 49, was bailed and has fled the country.
Williams from Stockwell, south London, was due to be sentenced last week, but the case was adjourned for “further evidence” after her defence argued she was a victim of human trafficking at Goodison’s hands.
The Home Office disputes she was a victim.
