IF CONVICTED, SALMAN KHAN FACES A SENTENCE OF UP TO TEN YEARS IN JAIL

The Mumbai sessions court, which is listening to the 2002 attempt at manslaughter trial (Hit n Run) including on-screen character Salman Khan, today said that it will report the judgment in the 13 year-old case on May 6.

The trial arrived at an end after both – the arraignment and the safeguard attorneys – finished up their contentions.

The 49-year-old performing artist has been blamed for supposedly murdering one individual and harming four by smashing his auto into a pastry kitchen in September 2002. He has been charged under a few areas of the Indian Penal Code, including at fault manslaughter not adding up to murder.

On the off chance that sentenced, Mr Khan confronts a sentence of up to ten years in prison.

In his first and final explanation in the eyes of the court a month ago, the on-screen character said that he was not driving the SUV that ran over individuals thinking about an asphalt, his driver Ashok Singh was.

Mr Khan, who confessed to having gone by a bar with his sibling Sohail Khan before the mischance, guarantees that he just drank water and did not arrange any mixed drinks.
