Interview of Virat Kohli when he was just 18 years old

Virat Kohli (born 5 November 1988) is an Indian cricketer. A right-handed middle-order batsman, he is the captain of the Indian Test team. Virat Kohli was born into a Punjabi family to Prem Kohli and Saroj Kohli. His father worked as a lawyer which can be considered as Virat Kohli family business.  He was the captain of the champion Indian team at the 2008 U/19 Cricket World Cup held in Malaysia. He represents Delhi in domestic cricket and is the captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in the Indian Premier League.

Kohli made his odi debut in 2008 and was a part of Indian team in World Cup 2011 and test debut in 2011.

In his interview when Kohli was just 18 year old said “I’m basically an attacking batsman, I want to go after the bowlers and hit them out of the ground. It’s something I’ll try and continue to do throughout my career. Indian fans like players who are totally committed, who always try and score big and are filled with a fighting spirit. They’re all things that I hope I have.”
