Leader Narendra Modi on Wednesday communicated agony over the loss of lives because of avalanches in Darjeeling and reported a remuneration of Rs 2 lakh each to the groups of the perished.
He coordinated Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju to visit the areas to take load of the circumstance. A group from NDRF is developing all conceivable bolster, Mr. Modi said.
“Profoundly tormented at the loss of lives because of the avalanches in Darjeeling area. Sympathies to the groups of the died,” he tweeted.
“A pay of Rs. 2 lakh from the PMNRF (Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund) would be given to the groups of the terminated,” he included.
