Mastermind of 26/11 attacks Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi Freed From Jail

LAHORE: The brains of the 26/11 assaults, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, has been discharged from a prison in Pakistan.

The Lahore High Court had yesterday requested that he be discharged, inciting a solid response from India.

Lakhvi, the 55-year-old military head of the fear bunch Lashkar-e-Taiba, was captured in Pakistan in 2009, months after 166 individuals were killed in Mumbai by 10 shooters who spread slugs and tossed explosives at city milestones for three days.

Lakhvi was initially conceded safeguard in December, however was then confined by the legislature under an open security act.

Recently, a court denied the administration’s appeal to keep Lakhvi in a jail in Rawalpindi.
