More than 17,000 travelers to Amarnath sanctum so far

Amid tight security, a new clump involving 1,885 explorers today left from the base camp here to the hole holy place of Amarnath in South Kashmir Himalayas.

With today’s cluster, upwards of 17,487 explorers have so far left from Jammu base camp for Amarnath holy place.

In the most recent cluster 1,494 men, 262 ladies, 29 kids and 100 sadhus left in a parade of 53 vehicles from Bhagwati Nagarbase camp here at 04:43 AM, a police authority said.
