NCP invites Modi and Sharif respective talks on terrorism

New Delhi : The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Saturday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for holding chats on terrorism with his Pakistan partner Nawaz Sharif in Ufa, Russia on Friday.

Inviting Prime Minister Modi’s choice to acknowledge Sharif’s welcome to visit Islamabad, NCP pioneer D. P. Tripathi said: “After quite a while, talks were held between the PMs of the two nations, and this is inviting and capable with respect to (Prime Minister) Modi. I compliment Prime Minister Narendra Modi for holding chats on how fear can be mutually battled and not raising disputable subjects like Kashmir. This exchange will help in enhancing relations between the two nations.”

Head administrator Modi, who met Pakistan partner Sharif on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the Russian city of Ufa, likewise acknowledged a welcome to go to the local SAARC summit in Islamabad one year from now.

The declarations were made after a meeting between the Prime Ministers that started with a warm handshake and ran longer than arranged.

The announcement made no reference to Kashmir, nor was it raised by Sharif amid the discussions.

Their last formal talks were in May 2014 after Sharif had gone to Prime Minister Modi’s swearing-in service in Delhi.
