New trailer for Brad Pitt’s WWII tank thriller Fury released

Watch: the second international trailer for Brad Pitt’s action-packed Second World War tank film Fury, which will close the London Film Festival in October

The new international trailer for Brad pitt’s Second World War film Fury has arrived.

The film stars Brad Pitt as army sergeant Wardaddy who heads up an American tank unit in Germany, 1945, as the end of the war approaches. Wardaddy and the remainder of his unit, played by Shia LaBeouf, Jason Isaacs, Logan Lerman, the Walking Dead ‘s Jon Bernthal, and Michael Peña, take on a deadly mission behind enemy lines.

Fury is written and directed by David Ayer, who was also responsible for theOscar-winning Training Day and the acclaimed thriller End of watch.


Speaking to People Magazine, Ayer said: “I set out to make the ultimate tank movie”. This included the use of a real Second World War tank in the film –the lst working tiger tank was loaned to the production by the Tank Museum in Dorset during shooting, which took place in Shirburn, Oxfordshire.

Fury was recently announced as the closing film at the London Film  festival, in a screening on October 19 that will be attended by both Pitt and Ayer.
