
One individual has passed on, while four youngsters and two ladies have been discriminatingly harmed after a building crumple early Wednesday morning in the Moti Nagar range of West Delhi.
The harmed have been hurried to the close-by Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital where they are experiencing emergancy consideration and treatment.
According to the Fire Department “a call was recieved about a cylinder blast and subsequent building collapse (double storey) at around 7:44 a.m. The rescue work was pushed into service almost immediately.”
A senior DFS official said eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot, located in Sudarshan Park, to help with rescue operations.
Prima facie, the collapse seemed to be triggered after a cylinder blast on the first floor which sent it crumbling to the ground.
“We have reason to believe that three to four residents are buried beneath the resultant debris; efforts to rescue them are underway,” said a police officer.
