Petrol merchants request ‘one country one rate plan’ for fuel

The All India Petroleum Dealers Association on Thursday requested ‘one country one rate plan’ for fuel over the late trek in petrol costs in the national capital.

“We will hold a meeting and choose whether to proclaim a strike or not. We need one country one rate plan,” said Ajay Bansal, President of the affiliation.

Petrol costs were climbed by Rs. 2.78 for each liter (roughly) while diesel has get to be dearer by Rs. 1.83 for every liter (roughly), after the Delhi Government chose to expand VAT (Value Added Tax) with impact from today.

Vice president Minister Manish Sisodia guarded Delhi Government’s prerogative to build VAT on petrol and diesel costs, expressing assessment rates were being justified in the national capital and its neighboring states.

Sisodia took to Twitter and composed, “Expense rates on petrol-diesel are being justified in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh under bound together duty approach. First time in North India.”
