PM Modi skips President Mukherjee’s Iftar party
PM Narendra Modi skipped President Pranab Mukherjee Iftar party for the second time yesterday, because of his meeting with the boss clergymen of the Northeast states.
On Wednesday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pioneer Sudhanshu Trivedi had said that the previous is engrossed with essential projects, and along these lines, would not have the capacity to go to the Rashtrapati Bhavan occasion.
“The Prime Minister is distracted with imperative projects. He has meeting with the Chief Ministers of North East states,” Trivedi said.
VP Hamid Ansari, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Janata Dal (United) President Sharad Yadav and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar went to the Iftar.
