The Haryana Government on Thursday raised the Value Added Tax (VAT) on diesel from 12.5 percent to 16.4 percent.
The Punjab Government raised the VAT on diesel from 12.5 percent to 13.4 percent.
The amended rates would be compelling from today.
On Wednesday, petrol costs trekked in the national capital by Rs 2.78 for every liter and diesel by Rs 1.83 as the Delhi Government raised VAT.
