Rangabati is Odisha’s most prominent people tune from the Sambalpur district and the arrangement has been known not neighborhood’s since time immemorial. The melody came to a bigger open and turned into a well known family unit tune after it was recorded without precedent for the mid 70’s in the voices of Jitendra Haripal & Krishna Patel with extra verses by Mitrabhanu Guintia & re-masterminded by Prabhudatta Pradhan.
