Today In Hockey Series India eye win against Spain
The Indian men’s hockey group will be planning to secure the three-match series against Spain when they will tackle the hosts in the third and conclusive match at Terrassa on Thursday.
In the wake of persevering through their first thrashing of the European visit against Spain 1-4 in their opening game, the Sardar Singh-drove group delivered a quite enhanced performance by overcoming the hosts 2-0 to level the series on Wednesday.
India had begun their European visit in an imperious style as they guaranteed a 2-0 series win over France before venturing into Spain.
This is a preparatory tour for the upcoming World League Final which will be held in India not long from now. India have officially booked their spot for one year from now’s Rio Olympics.
