‘Welcome Back’ collected as much as Rs 64 crore in five days

Anees Bazmee’s comic caper ‘Welcome Back’ is doing great business at the box office. In five days the film collected Rs 64 crore.

Box Office India reported the film collected Rs 6.25 crore on Day 5, Tuesday. The total collection of five days business is as follows – Friday – 14.25 crore, Saturday – 16.75 crore, Saturday – 19.5 crore, Monday – 7.25 crore, Tuesday – 6.25 crore.

The film stars an ensemble cast comrpising John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Shruti Haasan, Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Shiney Ahuja and it has been well received in core Hindi circuits of Mumbai, Delhi /UP, East Punjab, Rajasthan , CP Berar, CI and Bihar. On Monday the film had seen noticeable dip in Mumbai, Delhi city and East Punjab circuit.

With Salman Khan’s production ‘Hero’ releasing this Friday, it needs to be seen how ‘Welcome Back’ fares on its second Friday.
