India-Pakistan angle

salman-deepika-050115
From the first look of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the story seems to be set in India and traces the lead actor’s journey to Pakistan. The trailer starts off with the last thread of transportation being cut off between India and Pakistan. In the past, a similar India-Pakistan reference was used in Salman’s film, Ek Tha Tiger. However here is a more humanitarian take on it.

Promotions

salmankhan7595The makers are putting in a lot of creative efforts to promote Bajrangi Bhaijaan. While fans were waiting eagerly for the trailer, it was launched in a mega manner at a multiplex theatre for the first time, as Salman Khan usually releases the trailers at single-screen theatres. The makers also promoted a unique contest asking everyone to take a selfie, the best ones of which would feature in the ‘Selfie’ song of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. As the movie gears up for a release in July, more promotional strategies are expected to unfold
